About Me

I am Catriona, a 23 year old university student who loves to experiment with new recipes.

Ever since I was young, I would love to bake cakes with my mum, and as I have grown up the enjoyment of baking has stuck by me.

I used to bake from home just for my family but during the summer of 2017, I was offered to help out with the baking in a coffee shop. I learnt so much through this - the stresses of working in a kitchen, how to bake in bulk and so on.

Baking for me is a stress-reliever. I like to come home after a busy/hard/unproductive day and just bake. It shifts your focus from everyday stresses such as work, social media or even social interactions to something that is relaxing and leaves you with (hopefully) a tasty treat at the end - what more could you want?
